The SRX712M was designed with one goal – build the lightest, smallest, loudest, clearest stage monitor possible while delivering strikingly professional appearance.
The JBL SRX is a professional – grade two-way loudspeaker designed for live sound reinforcement applications. It is part of the JBL SRX 700 Series, which is known for its high performance audio reproduction and durability.
The SRX 712 features are compact and light weight design, making it suitable for portable setups and touring applications. It’s enclosure is constructed using premium-grade plywood and coated with JBL Duraflex finish, ensuring excellent durability and resistance to wear and tear. The speaker is equipped with 12″ differential drive hoofer and a 3″ voice coil, which deliver tight and impactful low-frequency reproduction with minimum distortion.
At the heart of the SRX712 is its high-frequency section, which consists of a 1.75-inch annular polymer diaphragm compression driver coupled to a constant directivity horn. This combination provides precise and consistent coverage throughout the listening area, ensuring clear and detailed high-frequency response.
The SRX712 offers a power handling capacity of 800 watts continuous and 3200 watts peak, enabling it to handle high sound pressure levels without compromising performance. It has a wide frequency response ranging from 53 Hz to 20 kHz, allowing it to reproduce a broad range of audio content accurately.
For connectivity and flexibility, the SRX712 features a Speakon NL4 input and output connectors, allowing easy daisy-chaining of multiple speakers or integration with other sound reinforcement equipment. The speaker can be mounted on a standard pole or used as a floor monitor, thanks to its integrated pole-mount socket and angled enclosure design.
